Gênes 01 / Fausto Paravidino  In Genoa during the 2001 G8 summit, Carlo Guliani was shot in the middle of the street. His murderer was a policeman on duty. They were both in their early twenties. It happened almost ten years ago. I was fourteen years old then. I was in high school. A friend of mine suggested we go to Genoa to demonstrate. Neither of us did eventually go as both our parents found it was some strange, dangerous idea. I can't remember hearing about the Genoa G8 summit for a few years. I can't remember hearing about Carlo Guliani either. How surprising was reading Paradivino's text a year ago. 2001 was a long time ago when you're a 22-year-old young man.
