Si vous pouviez lécher mon cœur / Julien Gosselin Julien Gosselin went to EPSAD, Ecole Supérieure d’art dramatique in Lille directed by Stuart Seide. Together with six actors from his school year - Guillaume Bachelé, Antoine Ferron, Noémie Gantier, Alexandre Lecroc, Victoria Quesnel et Tiphaine Raffier - he created in 2009 Si Vous Pouviez Lécher mon Coeur (SVPLMC), a theatrical company and directed in 2010 Gênes 01 by Fausto Paravidino at the Théâtre du Nord. The next year, he produced with the SVPLMC company a French version of Tristesse animal noir by Anja Hilling at the Théâtre de Vanves before going on tour in 2012. In July 2013, he produced Les Particules élémentaires / Atomised by Michel Houellebecq at the Avignon Festival. In March 2014 at the Theatre National Brussels and within the framework of the XS festival, he produced Je ne vous ai jamais aimés - a short play inspired by a text by Pascal Bouaziz from Mendelson, a French rock band. In autumn 2015, he directed Le Père by Stéphane Chaillou at the Toulouse National Theatre. In the same year, he produced 2666 inspired by Roberto Bolano’s long novel. The premiere took place at the Phénix in Valenciennes before being performed at the Avignon Festival and before going on a French and world tour. In 2017 during the Festival de Marseille he produced 1993 whose inspiration he drew from a text by Aurélien Bellanger. He collaborated then with students from the 43rd school year of the Théâtre National de Strasbourg. During the 2018 Avignon Festival, he adapted for the stage three novels by American writer Don DeLillo - Players, Mao II, The Names. In March 2019 as he was invited by the International Theatre Amsterdam he carried on working on Don DeLillo’s world by adapting Falling Man together with the actors from the ITA Ensemble. Within the framework of the Printemps des Comédiens in Montpellier, he produced in May 2019 Hammer and Sickle once again by Don DeLillo. In may 2021, Julien Gosselin adapted Dekalog from Krzysztof Kieslowski with students from the 45th school year of the Theatre National de Strasbourg. In the fall, he created Le Passé at the Théâtre National de Strasbourg, an adaptation of texts by the Russian author Leonid Andreev. In the spring of 2022, he presents Sturm und Drang, the first part of Histoire de la littérature allemande, at the Volksbühne in Berlin.
